The Americana Music Association hosted a solid showcase at the Budweiser Music House at The Horseshoe Tavern on June 19th that featured a strong mix of Canadian folk artists including Tennessee-via-Toronto folk-rock singer-songwriter Lindi Ortega, who released her fifth album, Tin Star, on October 8th, 2013 via Last Gang Records, Hamilton-based psychedelic folk band Lee Harvey Osmond, who released their second album, The Folk Sinner, on January 15, 2013, which was longlisted for the 2013 Polaris Music Prize, and nominated for a Roots & Traditional Album of the Year JUNO at this year’s ceremonies, acclaimed Canadian singer-songwriter Jim Cuddy, who is best known as the co-main songwriter, vocalist and guitarist in Blue Rodeo, and more!
