  1. Great photos for the festival. I was disappointed in VIP section as this year we were far from stage, the tents & seating area were behind the raised platform so you couldn’t see the performers, and the water station didn’t work properly. Also VIP bottled water wasn’t free this year, but $5 in General Admission it was $10. For a festival that runs in August, where weather is generally hot during the day, water availability should be a priority to prevent de-hydration issues. There were people so desperate for water that there was no line, just a mosh pit of pushy people trying to get water (yes in VIP) on day 1. Day 2 people were a little better. Also I couldn’t find VIP’s flushing toilets like they had last year, just the port-a-pottys. The reason I paid the expensive price for VIP was for those flushing toilets, close view of stage, free bottled water & great water station. Outside in G.A. no one had line management for booze and limited food options too. Very disappointed with the promoters running it this year. The music & performers & people who enjoyed the music, they made the festival. Seemed more like a cash grab this year, than providing music for the fans in a safe venue.

    • Hey!

      Thanks for your comment.

Water should be the number one priority for any summer music festival, especially EDM festivals. When we covered Digital Dreams last month, there were dozens of free water refill stations, which was a welcome sight so there wouldn’t be so much waste with plastic water bottles.

Sorry to hear that your VIP experience wasn’t a good one, but hopefully they’ll improve it for next year!
