JAMBANA 2014, Toronto’s premiere reggae festival, kicked off on August 3rd at Markham Fair Grounds with a line-up that included “the queen of reggae” Marcia Griffiths, who is best known as a member of the I Threes, who supported Bob Marley and The Wailers until 1981, Leroy Gibbon, JUNO Award-winning Toronto-based reggae artist Exco Levi, Pluto Shervington, UK reggae singer JC Lodge, and the “Calypso King of the World” Mighty Sparrow.
