The sixth annual Riverfest Elora Festival, which is held in beautiful Bissell Park in Elora, ON (near Guelph), kicked off yesterday (Aug. 22) with a stellar line-up that included Daptone Records-signee Charles Bradley, who brought his unique blend of ’60s-era funk, R&B, and soul, as the main stage headliner, along with Toronto-based reggae band Messenjah, who won the 1989 JUNO Award for Best Reggae Recording, Hamilton-based indie rockers Arkells, who released their third album, High Noon, on August 5th, 2014 via Universal Music Canada/Dine Alone Records, Australian blues/rock/folk singer-songwriter Kim Churchill, who released his fourth album, Silence/Win, on April 1st, via Fontana North, which was produced by Warne Livesey (Matthew Good, 54-40), and more!
