Leader of newly reformed Toronto-based indie rock band Constantines Bry Webb, who released his second solo album, Free Will, on May 20th, 2014, performed an intimate set last night with Toronto-based folk band The Weather Station, who released their newest album, All Of It Was Mine, on August 11th, 2011 via You’ve Changed Records, as part of the Art Gallery of Ontario’s (AGO) First Thursdays event, the first such event for the fall season.
Don’t miss the next First Thursdays event on October 2nd when attendees will be treated to not only a preview of Nuit Blanche 2014, but also a performance by Montreal-based electronic artist Tim Hecker, whose 2013 album Virgins made the 2014 Polaris Prize Long List and was tagged by Pitchfork as Best New Music upon its release.
