The second and final night of the fifth annual Festival Music House (FMH) showcase, which provides an opportunity for film and television industry tastemakers to explore Canada’s wealth of world-class musical talent during the height of TIFF 2014, featured performances by Ottawa-based electronic trio A Tribe Called Red, who released their second album, Nation II Nation, last year, Toronto-based power-pop quartet Sloan, who will release their eleventh album, Commonwealth (see our review), on September 9th via Yep Roc Records, Wolf Parade/Handsome Furs/Divine Fits member Dan Boeckner’s new band Operators, who released their debut EP, EP1, on August 5, 2014, and more.
