The KOI Music Festival 2014 in Kitchener kicked off last night with Toronto-based hard rock band Danko Jones, who released their sixth album, Rock and Roll Is Black and Blue, on October 9th, 2012 via Bad Taste Records, Toronto-based indie rockers Teenage Kicks, who released their debut full-length album, Spoils of Youth, on April 29, 2014 via Rezolute Music/Universal Music Canada, and Toronto-based indie folk-pop band Trouble and Daughter, who’s newest release, Thrills, was released on May 27th, 2014.
