Reformed Toronto-based dance-punk duo Death From Above 1979, who released a documentary called “Life After Death From Above 1979″, on October 7th, 2014, and who released their second album, The Physical World, on September 9th via Last Gang Records, which features the single “Trainwreck 1979″, performed at Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto on July 12th as part of the Panamania 2015 concert series celebrating the 2015 Pan Am Games with Toronto-based jazz trio BadBadNotGood, who released a new collaborative album with Wu-Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah called Sour Soul (out Feb. 24th, 2015 via eOne Music Canada), which follows their third album III (May 6th, 2014) via Innovative Leisure/Pirates Blend, which was a longlisted nominee for the 2014 Polaris Music Prize, and folk-rock singer-songwriter Jill Barber.
