The 2015 Polaris Music Prize gala was held last night at The Carlu in downtown Toronto and featured an impressive short-list of nominees that included Alvvays, BADBADNOTGOOD & Ghostface Killah, The New Pornographers, Drake, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Viet Cong, and more.  

In the end, it was Buffy Sainte-Marie and her album, Power in the Blood, that won the $50,000 prize.
