The new Flying Lotus-scored short film, FUCKKKYOUUU, is currently showing at the Sundance Film Festival as an Official Selection.
Following a series of exclusive festival appearances, watch the new Flying Lotus-scored short film “FUCKKKYOUUU” below.
“FUCKKKYOUUU” deals with a time travelling lonely girl who finds love and comfort by connecting with her past self. Eventually faced with rejection she struggles with her identity and gender, and as time folds onto itself only one of them can remain.
Currently showing at the Sundance Film Festival as an Official Selection, FUCKKKYOUUU follows previous films by Eddie Alcazar TAPIA (2014, distributed by HBO) and the upcoming feature films Johnny and 0000.
Flying Lotus is also nominated for two Grammy Awards: Best Dance Recording for his song “Never Catch Me” and Album of the Year for his work on Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly.
