Toronto ComiCon returns to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from March 18-20. The weekend kicks off at 4 p.m. on Friday, starting with smaller events such as cosplay and comic panels and the official Toronto ComiCon after-party, which is set to take place at Brassaii Lounge (461 King St. W.).

Toronto ComiCon calls fans from across Canada, and worldwide to celebrate community and creativity, encouraging fans of all ages to participate in what they’re passionate about.

One of the more exciting draws to conventions is the celebrity lineup. This year’s lineup – while smaller than this fall’s Fan Expo – includes fantastic guests such as Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld, Star Trek: The Next Generation’s Jonathan Frakes, Boy Meets World’s Will Friedle, The Walking Dead’s Tovah Feldshuh, The Flash’s Robbie Amell, and Jason Isaacs, better known as Lucius Malfoy from the Harry Potter movie series. Other great guests include Will Friedle, the hosts of Innerspace, and the cast of Sailor Moon as one of the anime guest panels.

Attendees will also get to see amazing – as usual – cosplays all around with some recognizable cosplayers such as Spock Vegas, Karli Woods, Sean Ward, Jenn Marvel, and Azzyland. All the guests are always spread out of the three days, so a quick consult of the official schedule will allow attendees to plan their weekend accordingly! There will be Q&A panels and photo-ops to choose from. Note that photo-ops can be pre-purchased from the Toronto Comicon website.

Beyond guests, there will be booths selling art, where you will find all of your favourite pencillers, inkers and writers, along with merch, and rare collectibles booths, where you’ll find the missing book or DVD for your collection.

The event is presented by Fan Expo Canada and plays home to many community groups as well as charities. Some organizations that will be represented that weekend are The 501st Legion, Doctor Who Society, Geekxgirls.com, and the Toronto Public Library. These organizations will have booths of their own where guests will be able to participate in activities and donate money to give back to the community.

Convention Hours:
Friday: 4-9 p.m.
Saturday: 10-7 p.m.
Sunday: 10-5 p.m.
