FVDED in the Park announces 2016 lineup

FVDED in the Park has announced its 2016 line-up.

Now in its second year, the festival will take place at Holland Park in Surrey, British Columbia, on July 2nd and 3rd, and will feature over 30 world-­renowned artists across three stages, including: Grammy-winning headliners Jack Ü, the brainchild of Diplo and Skrillex, along with EDM hitmaker, Zedd.

“FVDED is truly the most exciting project our team works on every year,” says Alvaro Prol, Blueprint Co-­‐Founder and Talent Buyer for the festival. “The lineup reflects our tastes as a company – it’s contemporary and approachable, with both established artists and emerging acts that we believe in and love. Last year’s reception blew us away and we appreciate the opportunity to once again bring a festival to the heart of a city.”

Also artists include: Travis Scott, Bryson Tiller, Carnage, RL Grime, Galantis, Kaytranada, DJ Mustard, Jazz Cartier, and more.

“It’s very exciting to unleash the second edition of what was such a unique and special event last year. FVDED IN THE PARK demonstrates that the lines between music genres continue to be blurry and today’s festival fan is open to discovering new artists from all corners our industry. Can’t wait to see everyone in Surrey this July,” says Erik Hoffman, Live Nation Canada Senior Vice-­‐President of Talent.

More than 28,000 music fans attended last year’s festival, making it the largest outdoor music event in the Vancouver Area. The scope of the event resulted in a positive impact on the local economy and helped strengthen the case for bringing large festival-­‐type events to other municipalities in the Lower Mainland.

GA two-day tickets and 19+ VIP tickets will be available for purchase on Monday, March 21st at 11am via www.fvdedinthepark.com. General Admission passes will be valid to admit all ages. Details on single day tickets will be released in the coming weeks.

VIP passes include priority entry into the festival, and includes access an exclusive viewing area and separate VIP areas/beer gardens.
