Day two of Governors Ball 2016 featured performances by Edmonton-based synthpop band Purity Ring, who released their second album, Another Eternity, on February 27th, 2015 via 4AD, which follows up their 2012 Polaris Music Prize-shortlisted album, Shrine, Grammy-winning pop-R&B singer-songwriter Miguel, who released his third album, Wildheart, on June 29th, 2015, which features the single “Coffee”, Hip-hop pioneers De La Soul, who formed in 1987 in Long Island, New York, Pittsburgh-based hip-hop artist Mac Miller, who released his third album, GO:OD AM, on September 18th, 2015 via Warner Bros., and more!
