Day one of Camp Wavelength 2016 on Toronto Island on August 19th featured performances by electronic rock band Operators, which features Wolf Parade/Handsome Furs/Divine Fits member Dan Boeckner, and who released their debut album, Blue Wave, on April 1st, 2016 via Last Gang Records, which followed up their 2014 EP, EP1, Montreal-based band Jef Elise Barbara’s Black Space, Toronto-based “Electro-organic dream pop” band For Esme, who released their new album, Sugar, on October 16th, 2015, which features the single “Just Yet”, and which was produced by the band alongside James Bunton, and more!
