The 2016 edition of the Festival Music House (FMH) showcase, which provides an opportunity for film and television industry tastemakers to explore Canada’s wealth of world-class musical talent during the height of TIFF 2016, took place at the Velvet Underground in Toronto last night, and featured performances by Toronto-based synthpop band Dragonette, acclaimed Toronto-based rapper Kardinal Offishall, Hamilton-based synthpop singer-songwriter Jessy Lanza, who released her 2016 Polaris Music Prize short-listed album, Oh No, which featured the singles “It Means I Love You” and “VV Violence”, was co-produced by Junior Boys’ Jeremy Greenspan, and more!
