South African alt-rock band Kongos, who released their third album, Egomaniac, on June 10th, 2016 via Epic, which followed up their 2012 album, Lunatic, performed at the Danforth Music Hall in Toronto last night with Welsh alt-rock band The Joy Formidable, who released their third album, Hitch, on March 25th, 2015 via Caroline, which was recorded in lead singer Ritzy Bryan’s childhood home in Wales, and which featured the single “The Last Thing On My Mind”.
