Chinese singer-songwriter Leah Dou, who is the daughter of Chinese musicians Dou Wei and Faye Wong, and who released her debut EP, My Days, on April 27th, 2016 via Universal Music Japan, which followed up her 2016 debut album, Stone Cafe, performed at Adelaide Hall in Toronto last night with Guelph, ON-based singer/songwriter NEFE, who won the 2014 RBC Emerging Artist Music Mentorship contest, which includes $25,000, the chance to perform at Canada’s Walk of Fame, 30 hours of recording studio time and mentorship from Triumph’s Rik Emmett and Gil More and The Tragically Hip’s Gord Sinclair.
