Ottawa Bluesfest Announces 2017 Lineup

Ottawa Bluesfest has announced the initial line-up for their 2017 festival.

Headlining the festival will be Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Muse, and Pink.

Other notable artists include: LCD Soundsystem, Flume, Toby Keith, 50 Cent, Jake Owen, Justin Moore, Fetty Wap, Gary Clark Jr, The Shins, Tegan And Sara, Sam Roberts Band, Phantogram, Death From Above 1979, and more.

“To celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary, we’ve put together one of our best lineups ever,” said RBC Bluesfest Executive and Artistic Director, Mark Monahan. “We expect thousands of visitors to join in and celebrate some great music in the nation’s capital this summer. New for 2017, in expectation of an increase in the number of out-of-town visitors, we are offering weekend-one (July 6-9) or weekend-two (July 13-16) passports.”

Pre-sale tickets are available Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. (ET) until 12:00 a.m. (ET)Friday, February 24, 2017. Pre-sale tickets include: Youth Festival Wristband, Adult Festival Pass, Club VIP Pass. (Parking and Extras will also be available as add-ons.)

General tickets are available Friday, February 24 at 10 a.m. (ET)All ticket-types available, including day passes, Pick-3 passes, ‘Kickoff’ (July 6-9) and ‘Homestretch’ (July 13-16) weekend passes, Metropolitan VIP Zone, and more. See www.ottawabluesfest.ca for more details.

The 2017 edition of the RBC Bluesfest runs from July 6 to 16. The Festival site at LeBreton Flats Park offers a wide variety of food and merchandise concessions and is fully licensed. Check the website at www.ottawabluesfest.ca for more to come in the weeks ahead.
