Silver Love Club

Australian band Silver Love Club will bring their 60’s pop-Indie sound to Canadian Music Week and Adelaide Hall on April 11th. Their latest single, “Ghost Town” satirically questions one’s submission to authority and popular culture and poses the question of staying true to oneself. The track is a rock ’n’ roll fuck you to governments impeding everyday freedoms. Drums are stomping, bass is wailing, guitars are a broken mess. The track is produced by The Rueben’s Will Zeglis & asks through passionate vocals ‘Where did we go?’. Questioning society’s submission to technology, authority & the everyday mundane.

Honey Beard

Toronto-based electronic duo Honey Beard has done the seemingly impossible. The Irish-Canadian duo have taken the best elements of the moody, dark synth-pop of the early 80s British scene, combined it with the modern savvy and psychedelic showmanship of the spectacularly popular MGMT, and added a healthy infusion of Friedrich Nietzsche-inspired nihilism with a Jim Morrison twist.

Honey Beard are renowned for their frenetic live performances, injecting their own edgy take on typical pop arrangements while balancing dark synth sounds with bright thumping beats. Don’t miss them!

Cat Clyde

Cat Clyde is a brand-new artist out of Stratford, ON. A fresh take on the classic sounds of yesteryear; breathing new life into the velvety vocal, tack-piano, slide-guitar-style that can instantly walk you through the swinging doors of a packed saloon. With influences ranging from Etta James to Janis Joplin to Lead Belly, hers is a mix that goes down smoother than a neat glass of mellow Kentucky bourbon. No longer do you need to reach for your trusty sifting pan and river boots to find gold. You just need to know one name.
