Los Angeles-based synthpop singer-songwriter Allie X, who will release her debut studio album CollXtion II in June 2017, which will follow up her 2015 debut EP, CollXtion I, which featured the singles “Catch”, “Prime”, and “Bitch”, performed at the Mod Club in Toronto last night as part of CMW 2017 with Toronto-based soul-pop band Romes, who released their debut EP, Believe, on April 8th, 2016 via Five Seven Music, which was produced and mixed by Grammy-nominated producer Tony Hoffer (Beck, M83, Phoenix, The Kooks).
