Bishop Briggs dropped a new video for her single “Dream” today. Directed by Dano Cerny (The Chainsmokers’ “Closer”, Elle King’s “Good Girls”) and shot on location in Los Angeles, the Wes Anderson-inspired video follows Briggs through a never-ending dream where she finds the strength to overcome depth and darkness. Watch it below!
“I’m really proud of this music video,” says Briggs. “I feel like Dano very fearlessly dove into the mindset of a dream sequence; full of characters and haunting visuals. It was really important that “Dream” kept the balance of strength and total vulnerability – which was my exact headspace when it was being written. It’s a rare moment when you truly feel that the visual matches the words you’ve written on the paper but I think Dano proves that there can be perfect harmony between the worlds.”
Affirming her exploding fan base, Briggs’ 10-week tour, including opening dates with alt-J and Bleachers, will hit multiple cities along the way, before wrapping up with dates at the Fillmore in Philadelphia on November 16th, the House of Blues in Boston on November 17th, Terminal 5 in New York on November 20th, and Brooklyn Steel on November 21st, the latter dates all opening for Bleachers. “Dream” will be included on Briggs’ highly anticipated debut album, due out in Spring 2018.
