Watch Our Lady Peace’s New Video For “Drop Me In The Water”

Our Lady Peace have released a brand new video for their song, “Drop Me In The Water”. The track comes from Somethingness, Volume 1 – the first half of the band’s new two-volume series – while the video is the first “episode” of a video series that they have created. Watch the video below.

“This was one of the most fun and rewarding experiences of my career. As a long time fan of OLP it was truly a privilege to be a part of the visuals for such amazing music,” says Santoro. Vocalist, Raine Maida adds, “The Somethingness series of videos explores the personal stories that happen every day, all around us. Matt did a great job at allowing us to view these though his lens.”

Maida continues, “The songs on Somethingness are working. We’ve had the unique opportunity to play them live before their release to amazing crowd reaction. The irony is, not since Clumsy, have we seen such overwhelmingly positive reaction so this tour is the perfect pairing between old and new.”

Somethingness, Volume 1 is now available via iTunes and Spotify – featuring “Hiding Place For Hearts”, “Falling Into Place”, “Nice To Meet You”, and the new single, “Drop Me In The Water”. The completion of the album, Volume 2 (which includes “Ballad of A Poet” – a heartfelt tribute to Gord Downie of The Tragically Hip) is due out by the end of the year.
