Shawn Michaels vs Bret Hart at Wrestlemania 12 will always be a match to remember. With Michaels’ setbacks throughout 1995-96 including losing to Diesel at Wrestlemania XI, and forfeiting his Intercontinental title at In Your House: Great White North, HBK was desperate for a win against the Hitman in a 60-minute iron man match. As two of the best technicians of all-time, Michaels and Hart carried the match to perfection, and with a highly emotional storyline, it made for an iconic matchup.
