Toronto-based indie band The Budds are back with their latest video for “Sadd”. On the video the band said, “when you’re sad, you turn to television. Sometimes if  you’re too sadd, you turn into one. Director Melissa A. Jimenez has managed to create a surreal and upbeat story to accompany our sad, sadd song.”

The Budds have charged forward with an infectious energy since forming in early 2014. Frontmen Jonah Allingham and Chris Shackleton have lead the band through multiple configurations, currently featuring Justin Bain and Noah Ozarko on drums and bass. In 2017 they released their self-titled EP and got right back to work producing their follow-up offering ‘Hideout Night’. Dueling harmonies give a wholesome edge to their edgy edge while Eric Steele’s guitar licks characterize slacker virtuosity. While performing, the Budds entertain and impress with an antic driven ruckus. Upcoming release, Kensington Palace, is anticipated on streaming platforms during Fall 2018.
