Broken Social Scene
Last week, during an appearance on CBC’s “The Strombo Show,” Broken Social Scene debuted two new songs, “Can’t Find My Heart” and “1972.” Today they announced Let’s Try The After – Vol 1, a new EP that will be released on February 15th via Arts & Crafts. The EP’s electric first single, “All I Want,” with lead vocals by BSS core member Andrew Whiteman from Apostle of Hustle, can be heard now HERE.
The EP is available for pre-order today. “The point is to keep going,” says band leader Kevin Drew. “We have more to give. These songs have lived beside us and become our commencement party while continuing together. We hope you enjoy this EP for you and me.”
In addition to the forthcoming EP, Broken Social Scene have announced a series of residencies. The group will perform in Montreal at the Corona Theatre on May 21st and 22nd and in Los Angeles at the Henry Fonda Theatre on June 5th and 6th. More dates will be announced soon.
