Toronto-based indie trio The Black Fever are back with their new video for “Marketing”.
“The actual song is about excessive commercialization and materialism in modern society,” says the band. “People can’t escape from trying to be sold something by companies, whether via billboards on the street or commercials on TV.” The band continues, “the video tries to build on that theme. It’s a collection of TV commercials from the 1960s stitched together that depict excessive commercialization and its effects on the character at the beginning and end of the video.”
The Black Fever’s new EP, Unarticulated Wants, is out now.
