Stream Wax Tailor’s New Single “Keep It Movin’ (Feat. D Smoke)”

By: Staff –

Renowned producer Wax Tailor, in collaboration with US Rap sensation D Smoke, has released his latest single “Keep It Movin’”, a solar banger with electro-funk accents.

The track was recorded during the quarantine from both sides of the Atlantic and is not only a feel-good song but also a combativeness anthem. D Smoke is a big winner of the Netflix competition “Rhythm + Flow”. Tailor is currently working on his next album, The Shadow Of Their Suns, and is preparing a new international tour which will contribute to his count of more than 800 concerts in 60 countries.

The track recorded under exceptional circumstances, from both sides of the Atlantic during the quarantine. As a result, the track is not only a feel-good song but also a defiant anthem. D Smoke’s smooth vocals and trendy syncopated rhythms lead the track while Wax Tailor imparts his signature electro-funk accents into the mix. The underlying positivity of the track radiates an infectious pulse that captivates the listener and lifts their mood, no matter the circumstances.

Tailor reveals details about the creation of “Keep It Movin'”, “I composed this track months ago, I immediately thought that would be great to work with someone who could inject some great funky energy but still a lyricist. Someone somewhere between Kendrick & Anderson Paak. When I’ve discovered D Smoke on Netflix I’ve contacted him directly. I usually hate those kind of fake shows but he really used it to shine “outside the matrix”. I knew he was the one I needed to bring the track to the next level & I’m happy we’ve made it. it’s the only positive thing about the quarantine, it gave us time. really had a great collab with Smoke, he’s brilliant, intelligent & we both got the independent DNA.”
