Exclusive Premiere: Watch Cinzia & The Eclipse’s New Video for “Runaway”

By: Staff –

Emerging singer-songwriter Cinzia & The Eclipse is back with a new video for “Runaway”, which you can watch exclusively via Aesthetic Magazine below.

“I wrote “Runaway” to put the feeling of having to constantly explain myself to rest – to feel free doing and being who I want to be,” said Cinzia. “This song is about making your own decisions and following your own path, no matter how wild, impulsive, or insane it may seem. This song is taken from my upcoming album, Little Italy, which will be released on October 23rd.

The line, “your white lies never hurt anyone, well I’ve never held a loaded gun until now,” came to me after a crazy amount of writing opportunities came my way, yet I felt I was being pigeon holed into the idea that I am only capable of writing sad love songs. It was a little discouraging to be labelled when I had so much more to say. “Runaway” is about making one’s own choices in life and rejecting the status quo.

The song’s video follows a bold woman who’s made a couple of mistakes but doesn’t let them define her. She’s impulsive, yet knows how to stay true to her path.

As you listen to “Runaway,” I want you to feel empowered. Stop questioning yourself and take on the world head on. This song was written to help rid you of your insecurities and live the life you want to lead without fear of judgement.”

Lead by emotional strength and honesty; singer-songwriter Cinzia & The Eclipse has become one of the most authentic and vulnerable voices of her generation. Through self-discovery with music, she finds strength in her serene melodies and relatable lyrics that have created an honest bond between her and her listeners. Her latest single “Runaway” highlights the importance of being bold and following your instincts no matter what and sets the tone to her debut EP coming October 23rd.
