Indie pop/rock band Litvar is back with a new video for “Autopoet”, which you can watch exclusively via Aesthetic Magazine below.
“Autopoet” is about having confused feelings for someone who is convinced they are paramount – “You’re brilliant to yourself.” It’s inspired by the sharp pop sound of the early 2000s from artists like Arcade Fire & Phoenix. The video is somewhat inspired from the film “The Lover’s Under The Bridge,” specifically the fireworks scene, for its movement and coloring.
Based out of Connecticut in the United States, Rex Thurstan and Joe Lemieux founded Litvar in pre-covid 2020, and have ignited a rapidly growing, passionate fan base. The album, ‘The Greatest Movie of All Time’ is half a painting of the two artists growing up and battling depression in a digital world, and half a narrative of two characters, Beverly and Andy, and their tragic love story over AOL instant message.
The band is releasing their debut album “The Greatest Movie of All Time” via Mother West Records on Vinyl, Cassette, and CD on Friday, May 14th.
