Exclusive Premiere: Stream Borza’s New Single “1 on 1”

By: Staff –

Emerging Quebec-based singer-songwriter Borza is back with his new single “1 on 1”, which you can stream exclusively via Aesthetic Magazine below.

His inspirations are mostly about curiosity of, and reflections on, our behaviours between each other as human beings. As a solo artist, Borza’s brand new single “1 on 1” offers a fresh alternative, indie rock and folk combination that mentions a lesser talked about subject between people that love each other. “For some reason, sometimes a kin, or we ourselves, act differently in the presence of others,” Borza realized. “This song mentions certain reasons for wanting to be alone, and just ‘1 on 1’ with someone you love.”

His love for musical projects filled up many years, working with many artists that have a conscious message to send out in the world for encouragement and inspiration to others.

Borza has produced more than 250 records, for emerging artists from the Quebec music scene, as well as established artists such as Emmylou Harris, the McGarrigle sisters, Lauryn Hill and Malcolm Burn.

Borza released his first alternative/experimental folk EP called Playing With Time in December 2016 to break the ice and start making his own records as well.

On October 25th, 2019, he released a full length record called Cocoon that has essences of alternative pop, folk & reggae, and was produced by his friend Malcolm Burn (Bob Dylan, Iggy Pop, Emmylou Harris, Daniel Lanois).
