Emerging Canadian singer-songwriter and producer Ọlá is back with his new single “Back To Harmony”, which can be streamed exclusively via Aesthetic Magazine below.
“At the individual level, “Back To Harmony” is me singing, writing, and producing what I want how I like it,” says Ọlá. “At the collective level, the main message is to address current inequalities to build generational care for one another and most importantly for the planet.”
Ọlá (he/him) is a Nigerian-Canadian, a Black Gay creative originally from Lagos, Nigeria, who has spent most of his life in Calgary, Alberta. Ọlá has been pursuing music professionally since 2018 under different monikers (past lives) and has chosen to reclaim his true name Ọláwálé, Ọlá for short. He takes back his power making Black music, Black poems, and other Black social products, a groovy alien in the prairies. You can find him at https://www.inthecosmogarden.com/.
