Emerging country music artist Amberlea Bruch is back with her brand new country/pop flavoured love song “Benefits of You”, which can be streamed exclusively via Aesthetic Magazine below.
Written by Bruch and two Ontario artists – Rich Cloke and Greg Williams – “Benefits of You” was produced by CMAO-nominated Shawn Moore (Elyse Saunders, Emily Clair). An energetic and full-sounding country-pop hybrid, the single has a ‘90s Country with a modern pop twist. As vocals were cut live off the floor with a band in tow, the song captures the sound as a moment in time which mirrors the romantic snapshot of its theme.
Bruch says, “This song was written as an end to my dating era. I had been through many dating experiences that had me wondering if I’d ever meet someone I could truly be in a healthy relationship with. Suddenly when the world shut down, there he was along with all the things I’d never experienced before – the one you ramble on to late at night, look your best and worst for and it doesn’t matter. I wrote this song to remind folks that they deserve unconditional love in a relationship and to stand up for what they want on the journey to find it.”
Originally from Woodstock, Ontario, and now based in Guelph, Bruch’s longtime love of songwriting and performing gained new inroads in 2021 with the release of her first three singles, and the continued growth of the Songbird Series, which empowers women in country music and was co-founded by Bruch and fellow artist Emily Clair.
“Benefits of You” will serve as the artist’s fourth single release and a prelude to her first EP that will arrive in the fall. Until then, Bruch and Clair will lead a Songbird Series event in June, and they will both perform at the inaugural Music from the Vineyard Country Festival at Terra Estate Winery. More summer shows will be announced.
She says, “I want people to feel excited and energized listening to this song. My hope is that it sparks them to feel good about who they are, and that when you find true love, it is worth the wait and the detours along the way.”
