Toronto-based artist Juliana Eye is back with her melancholic yet euphoric new single “Late to the Party”. Stream it exclusively via Aesthetic Magazine below.
“Late to the Party” is a melancholic yet euphoric song which Eye wrote about social anxiety and the impacts that depression has on one’s social life. It embraces pop production while speaking to the experience of masking one’s emotions.
“You don’t always need to share every detail, but giving close friends and family a heads up that you’re not in a good place mentally can be helpful for your own well-being. It’s okay to be open about what you’re going through,” says Eye.
Juliana Eye is an unapologetic alt-pop artist and songwriter. Hailing from the suburb of North York, Eye embraced music during a period of rebellion at thirteen, writing songs in her bedroom and going on to perform across the local scene.
Eye went on to work as a session keyboard player, touring in Canada and internationally throughout the United States and Europe. She is now set to release her debut EP, LATE BLOOMER, in early 2023.
