The world felt a collective shock when David Bowie died on January 10th from liver cancer, two days after his 69th birthday and the release of his new album Blackstar.

Toronto-based “open choir” Choir! Choir! Choir! paid tribute to Bowie at the Art Gallery of Ontario’s Walker Court last night by singing their original arrangement of the Bowie classic “Space Oddity” with over 500 singers. Watch the video below.

  6. I don’t know DAVID BOWIE at all. Someone (special) shared his songs to me. And started downloading his songs. And I’ve been searching about him since then. Now I’ve learnt that he is INDEED a GREAT singer and performer.
    David…you will always stay in people’s heart. Your songs will always inspire people.
    Rest in peace. GOD LOVES YOU MORE.

  9. Mind blowingly beautiful and very well done, all of you! … The only shame is that David could not experience this fantastic tribute.
    I consider him a lifetime influence for me, for at least the last 38 years. I will never let go of him as an artist or his music, he is integral to my life and will always find pleasure when I hear his work.
    RIP Starman.
