Palehound
_____________________________________________________________________________________
Founded by Ellen Kempner, New York City-based band Palehound has formed a lyrical vision and storytelling technique that falls somewhere between a Lo-Fi rock n’ roll Patti Smith and a light-hearted Juno film sequel. This off kilter band plays with rhythmic variations the same way DJ’s spin records. Pale hound will become your new sonic obsession.

Lady Pills

Indie rock trio Lady Pills’ songs detail the lines of a diary with direct thoughts and words that everyone wishes they had told their friends. While being sincere, Lady Pills have no problem with telling you off, especially when it comes to a catchy riff that lingers around all day long. Perfect for the road trip to Boston.

Black Beach
_____________________________________________________________________________________
The more hard hitting punk band to attend Boston Calling. Imagine the combination of bands between METZ, the song ‘Touch Me, I’m Sick’ covered by Sonic Youth, Sundrones and instrumental Black Sabbath…Black Beach would probably germinate from the ground up to give you a black out, heart racing performance.

These Wild Plains

Vibrato, steel guitar and an echoing microphone…These Wild Plains will send shivers down your spine. By picking out scenarios that only happen in films, this band somehow brings to life an effervescent reckoning full of promise and wonderment. Do not fear the hypnotic sensation that These Wild Plains will leave behind.
