It’s not often that you get an oportunity to see David Gilmour in concert.  The last time he played in Toronto was back in 2006 at Massey Hall, so it was great to see the voice of Pink Floyd perform live again.

While Drones isn’t one of my favourite Muse albums, the band sure knows how to put a live show. With a rotating center stage & drones flying around above the fans, it was a show to remember and easily the best from a visual/live production standpoint.

Artist: Pearl Jam
Venue: Air Canada Centre
City: Toronto
Date: May 10 & 12

2017 Rock And Roll Hall of Fame inductees Pearl Jam.

When Pearl Jam drops in town, the show is almost guaranteed to be included in a top five list.  Since the band played 33 songs and over three hours (including 2000’s Binaural) it felt like I’ve seen two shows for the price of one.

Artist: The Who
Venue: Air Canada Centre
City: Toronto
Date: April 27

When a band has been around for 50 years, they must be doing something right.

Even though they are now in their 70’s, Roger Daltrey & Pete Townshend still put on a great show.

I watched this concert streamed in a park, so while I wasn’t actually there, it still felt like a concert experience.
