Cage the Elephant has one of the most energetic live performances I have ever seen. The guitarist jumped into the crowd right from the start and the lead singer danced like a mad man for an hour. It was an awesome show.

Charles Bradley put on the most emotional filled performance I have ever seen. He killed his set at Wayhome, making giant portions of the crowd cry with joy on seeing such a beautiful performance. Little did we know that this would be one of his last, with Charles passing just a few months later. RIP

The brothers that make up the Lemon Twigs put on one hell of a show. With an old school Queen-type sound, it was fun to move to. The brothers each performed half the show on the drums and lead vocals. They ended the set by destroying the stage and making the crowd go insane!

Artist: JFDR
Venue: Danforth Music Hall
City: Toronto
Date: April 11

JFDR

The first time I had ever heard JFDR was watching her live at the Danforth. She put on an unbelievable solo show, playing both piano and guitar. Her songs sounded like they were coming from a Wes Anderson movie.

City: Toronto
Date: Sept. 20

Not being a big fan of metal, this was the first time I attended a metal show and it was really cool! Counterparts are a super energetic band and spread love and positivity between songs. The entire venue was moshing and if someone fell to the ground, everyone got that person back to their feet to keep the good times going.
