Established in the summer of 2014, the atmospheric songs of Lyfe Indoors have continued to gain traction in the lo-fi bedroom pop genre. The solo project has grown to become a ‘best kept secret,’ since its initial establishment. While trying to separate the clash between identity and art, Lyfe Indoors is generally a project of mystery. Taking long summers indoors to write and record spawned the name “Lyfe Indoors” (and relevant now, more than ever). Referenced in the past to artists like Beach House, and Joy Division, it seems as though the project is a juxtaposition between 80s new wave rebellion and humble bedroom pop beginnings.
