Emerging Toronto-based singer-songwriter Alex Southey is back with his new single “Soften”. Watch the visualizer below.

“Soften” follows up on Southey’s previous single, “Open Season”, by continuing the vibe of 90s alternative rock but opens up the genre a little more to include prettier, more artful arrangements.

“Soften” has become a standout during Southey’s live sets, with people already knowing the words before its release.

This is just the second in a string of single releases that Southey will release throughout end of summer and into Fall.
