Award-winning power pop outfit Universal Honey, who is currently celebrating their 30th anniversary, is back with a fun and vibrant new video for their track “Hush A Word”. Watch it exclusively via Aesthetic Magazine below.
Directed by Julian Sinclair and Kevin Sick, the music video for “Hush A Word” was shot at Saskatoon art gallery Dervilla Design as well as in various areas around the city’s graffiti walls. The video offers a vibrant, fun energy to counteract the song’s passionate commentary on wealth without consequences.
Based out of Saskatoon, SK, Universal Honey was formed by the platinum recording artists Johnny Sinclair and Leslie Stanwyck after playing in platinum-certified Canadian power pop group The Pursuit of Happiness. During this time, Sinclair and Stanwyck started a songwriting partnership that has spanned across three decades and earned Universal Honey a 1993 CASBY award as Best New Group. The duo has since shared the stage with the likes of the Goo Goo Dolls, Alanis Morisette, Duran Duran and many more.
