CCMA & JUNO Award nominated artist Mike Robins is back with his new music video for “Lightening Don’t Strike Twice”, which you can watch exclusively via Aesthetic Magazine below.
“Lightening Don’t Strike Twice”. “Lightening Don’t Strike Twice” is an adorable love song about feeling that once in a lifetime kind of love unlike anything else.
On discussing the video shoot, Robins said, “The video for Lighting Don’t Strike Twice was so much fun to shoot. We filmed it in this old vibey barn, it had so much character to it. I loved how the holes in the walls really created this amazing look as the light would come through. It was such a laid-back thing it really came together naturally, working with Tim was an amazing experience.”
Robins exploded on the country music scene in 2013 with his group Autumn Hill, achieving radio success with multiple top 10 and 20 singles including “Anything At All,” “Mixtape,” and “Can’t Keep Waiting.” The music video for the groups hit single “Blame” also topped the CMT charts reaching #1. Following the success of Autumn Hill, Mike continued to grow working on his other critically acclaimed project, East Adelaide. He has been nominated for 4 Canadian Country Music Awards, 2 JUNO Awards, and 5 Country Music Association of Ontario Awards, and won awards for the CMAO’s Rising Star and Best Group/Duo.
Robins has shared the stage with incredible artists including Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley, Florida Georgia Line, Dean Brody, Dallas Smith, and Tim McGraw and has performed at major venues such as Boots and Hearts, Havelock Jamboree, Country Thunder, Cavendish Beach Fest, The Calgary Stampede, and Big Valley Jamboree. Now branching out on his own, Robins is ready to deliver his fresh sounding new music.
