The 2011 and 2010 festivals saw attendance jump up by 75,000 people. There’s a good reason for that. 2011’s headliners alone were some of its strongest, with Arcade Fire, Kings of Leon, The Strokes and Kanye West. Also on the bill were the return of Duran Duran and Suede, who after all these years still have to call themselves ‘The London Suede’ stateside.
