Just look at that shit. After years of saying “I should go”, this is the lineup that finally got me off my ass. And god damn was it ever worth it. Featuring a reunited Outkast, Queens of the Stone Age, Beck, HAIM, Neutral Milk Hotel, Calvin Harris and too many more to mention. The lineup was so astonishing that people didn’t even notice the late-hour additions of Julian Casablancas and the fucking Pixies. 2014 was also flush with unannounced cameos from P Diddy, Lauryn Hill, Jay Z, Beyonce, Drake, Slash, Debbie Harry, Gwen Stefani, Busta Rhymes, Nelly, Tyga, Justin Bieber, Snoop Dogg, Billie Joe Armstrong and two assholes dressed as Daft Punk during Arcade Fire’s set. This was Win Butler’s slight against EDM, and also caused the crowd to surge so violently, they almost broke my ribs. Assholes.
